TRUE CHRISTMAS

Once a year we are celebrating this very special day. A when our lord Jesus Christ was born in a stable, surrounded by animals in Bethlehem. Christians and non-Christians celebrate Christmas as a major festival and public holiday in countries around the world. Others celebrate Christmas with gift-giving, decorating there Christmas trees and also caroling which is very much doing by children.
Christmas is not for one day only. Every day is Christmas if we practice giving, loving and peace. Our heart wrapped by darkness learns how to forgive our enemies no matter how bad they are.
Children are excited to receive their Christmas presents, but most important is let us be a role model to them, and explain the true essence of Christmas as a good time for forgiving those persons who left a scar on our hearts, time for being charitable to those persons who are helpless, and a pleasant time to have a strong bond with our loved once.

NOW IS THE TIME

“Climate change impacts affects water availability, water demand, water quality, storm water and waste water infrastructure, flood and coastal storm infrastructure, wild lands fires, ecosystem functioning, coastal zone functioning, navigation, and energy production and demand.” In short if we will not make a move, calamities will continue to destroy our homes and natural resources.
If we are going to realize why don’t we response to these life treating climate change. And to give me an idea on how to response to this climate change I have asked some persons on how they are going to response to it.
“One of the characteristics of living organism is the ability to adapt to their environment. We can adapt to climate change by doing sort of things. To sum it up, we can “think and do green” one of the best things we can do is to plant trees. These absorb co2 from the atmosphere which will prevent global warming. We should lessen the use of plastics for they have very destructive effect. We should stop burning waste and practice 3r. We should also have compos pit so well have organic fertilizers. We can do a lot with less effort. What we should have is discipline and cooperation.”
-       Sir Ricky
“Well, as a professional and advocate of student’s dev’t, climate change really affects us. It might be neither direct nor indirect; the responsibility is on our hands. Remember the 7 principles of nature, we, human were given the responsibility to work for everyone’s welfare specially the lower form of organism plus our environment. As indicated, let us work hand on hand to educate the youngster. Now is the time!”
-        Sir Jeff

See my friend; let us make our move now for a better tomorrow. Let us discipline ourselves and cooperate, let’s be resourceful in many ways to reduce the growing number of waste. Let’s know our responsibilities and work for it. NOW IS THE TIME FELLOW EARTHLINGS, wake up and be true to yourself.

CHEMERGY THE LANGUAGE OF DEVELOPMENT

One of the most hated and hardest subjects in both high school and college is Chemistry and it has proven itself to be more difficult with each one’s advancement in the academic ladder. It has dumbfounded even the brightest minds I’ve come to personally know, and it possesses to some extent this shroud of mystery which no one seems able or at least interested to crack.
One possible reason why many people cannot understand the basic of chemistry is the fact that this field of knowledge uses almost different language. Math uses numbers, English and Filipino uses letters and numbers, but Chemistry uses an inexplicable mixture of these, woven into complex patterns almost to the point of irrationality. But in reality, Chemistry is not to be feared; sometimes it only depends on the teacher, or instructor or professor to enjoy this subject. If he/she put his all in teaching the basics of Chemistry-especially the hard ones, no doubt you’ll learn to love this subject. But falling in love with Chemistry is no easy thing. It takes determination and real ardent desire to learn. Admit it, not everybody can love Chemistry as it is. So what now? Are we just to resort back to the old attitude towards chemistry? Of course not.
What we need is to incorporate it with something enjoyed by people at a stage when their minds are very flexible, malleable, and ductile. This stage I’m talking about is childhood. And what is that activities do kids like more than being with each other? So there we have it: a harmony between chemistry and science clubbing among kids or simply called Chemergy. By Synergy, it is meant that together, chemistry and science clubbing can do something that they cannot do when separated. And this something is changing the world. But how? Chemistry is one field in science that’s very use in almost all fields of development. We need a thorough understanding of Chemistry if we are to make significant advancements in Agriculture and Aquaculture, Biology, Medicine, Forestry, Environmental Conservation, and a host of other activities. Chemistry is the language of our development.
And what other time to start inculcating love for chemistry than during the early learning years of man? Thus the compatibility of science clubbing and Chemistry, while having fun, kids can learn the wonders of this field. And while learning, they can be paving the way for better advancements and a brighter future.

MY TEACHER, MY HERO

He teaches well, he can change the negative attitude of a student.  He was able to touch the life of his student, this are the skills a teacher does possess to be considered a hero.
I have seen this skill of a teacher of ours today but soon will be retiring.  He is known as a terror one, but for real he is not really that terror.  He's just strict, strict enough for his student to respect and listen to him.  He is a funny guy, you can learn a lot from him, foolishness and good things.
If you have a problem you cannot open to others.  You can always run to him, he is a good listener and a good adviser.  To prove it you can always come here at Ilocos Sur National High School.  In his more than 30 years in service, he has touched not 10 or 15 lives but almost a million lives of his students.  He also met a student using drugs and he has courage to talk to this student without forcing and he was able to straighten this road of his student. See how powerful he is?
According to my experience, there was a time during our duty as a CAT officer, during a program there were lots of male students who were hard headed. And we cannot drove them away to go to their lines, then this teacher came when he was still walking maybe 10m away from those hard headed students. They rushed moving/going to their lines just seeing the posture of this teacher. See how powerful he is?
Now tell me is this teacher not considered a hero?

My Life Time Hero

I think that a Hero needs to be supportive, almost fearless, fun, funny, kind, caring, and goofy. My Mom is all of those things. My Mom is one of the best people I've ever met because she is one of the only people that I can really talk to, and she is the only person who will understand. I'm almost positive that if anybody met my Mom, they would also love her!

A hero needs to be supportive because if they aren't supportive then what's the point of them being a hero?! It's always nice to have someone to talk to and to know that they will always make you feel better when you are sad. I think that a hero also shouldn't be fearless because if they are fearless then going places or staying with them wouldn't be fun. For example, if you go to a theme park and there is a really big ride, and your partner isn't afraid of it, then what is the point?! A hero needs to be funny because if a person doesn't have a sense of humor, then they can get kind of boring. A hero needs to be fun because everyone likes to do something fun with the person who they admire the most. A hero needs to be kind, because if a hero isn't kind then they would be kind of scary to be around. I wouldn't have a mean person as my hero. I love my mom because she is REALLY goofy. Her being goofy is almost the biggest reason for her being my hero. She gets hyper like me, so that makes her fun to be with; and a hero needs to be fun to be with!

She work as School Nurse, and having her sideline as a business women, she always spends her time in work to earn a living for us. Because she is a single parent and there is no financial support coming from my father.

LIQUID GOLD

If someone asked what is liquid gold, one of the last liquids the come to mind, for the common person, is breast milk. Breast milk is, in fact, a liquid gold. Breast milk is precious and priceless for a child’s first months of life to have in the first months of life. Breast milk contains a perfect chemical composition that is perfect for babies. Many women who want to breastfeed might experience common concerns that many other women experience as well. This liquid gold is very beneficial to mothers and society in addition to baby. Some of the benefits that are prominent from breast-feeding are health, digestive reasons, post partum depression, cancers, productivity at work, and healthcare cost. The best way to feel comfortable breast-feeding in public is to cover up. Covering up may help as protection from the few states that do not have legislative ruling protecting breast-feeding mothers. Retuning to every-day living after birth alone is intimidating for some. Every-day life can be even worse for breast-feeding mothers who need to return to work. Breast-feeding is not impossible to continue after returning to work. Ultimately, breast-feeding is the best thing a child can be given because breastfeeding is a basic practice and is beneficial to multiple entities.

First, breast-feeding is a very basic practice with common concerns. The meaning of breast-feeding is to feed a baby, infant, or child from a mother’s breast. Multiple organizations have come to an agreement:

In light of the important maternal and child health benefits of breastfeeding, health professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American College of Nurse-Midwives, American Dietetic Association, and American Public Health Association, among others, officially recommend that most infants breastfeed for at least 12 months. These organizations also recommend that for about the first six months infants are exclusively breastfed, meaning that they not be given any foods or liquids other than breast milk.

I DELIVERED MY SONA

Last July 25, 2011 P-NOY delivered he’s 2nd SONA wherein he spoke about the problems of the Philippines and its solution.  I was happy to hear that PNOY obeyed his promises. He possibly lessen the problems of our country he was able to made some of his project successfully.  Especially when he spoke about the additional works to lessen the problem of unemployment and when also when he spoke about those Filipinos who are choosing to work here in the Philippines instead of going to the other country because they have a lot of jobs to choose on.
But I doubt, can he possibly end up the crisis of our country in the next five years of his service.  Out of 100% problem that is encountering only 10% of it is resolved. Could he possibly remove all the
“wang –wang” of all the government agencies as he mentioned during his SONA.

My Dear PNOY please remove this doubt to me try to prove to me not only to me but to all of your men whom you call your “BOSS”. We are tired of being in the low class of living please up lift all the weakness of or country. THANK YOU.

DEAR PNOY

Dear PNOY:

We need to bring back the people who left to go to other countries in search for "gold."
Times are hard it's true but they are better off with their family instead of having to
go online and use Skype. Mr. President, strengthen the quality of employment in our country.

Lower the cost of living. (That’s too much to ask)
Ask the rich people in government that it's not nice to keep on purchasing V8 engine vehicles.
Let's cut back on spending costs.

Allow Vice President Binay to do what he does best.
He took the position since he is capable of doing something nice.

I really hope you give our country a chance to be the Pearl of the Pacific all over again
and not the next Korea, China or India. Let's keep our countrymen home

Respectfully yours,
KYLE TERENCE VILORIA
