REFLECTION

This grading period I learned a lot in using more html tags, thanks to those Exers that were given to us that trained us.
This grading period was way much challenging than the past grading. Making your own web was a great experience and challenge to me. I never thought that they will give me the responsibility in making our web design, which is our project. So I pursued to finish and make it beautiful.
I made research for more tags in the internet. I asked my friends who knows something about this. I put lots of effort in making our project because it was my punishment for not helping in the hardcopy. And I survived I finished it and I am glad that I have applied what I have learned.
Upon making a web design I find enjoying and I think it will be my next hobby. It is very challenging to make a web which is cool, awesome, beautiful, and satisfying. Moving on I hope that our last grading would be more challenging and learn more about web designing.

NEW YEAR! NEW ME!

Year 2011 was a history lots of things happened. Happiness that I thought i will never lose, problems that I thought it will never end, friends which I trusted because they do trust me, failures which I will never forget and met a special person that I will never give a chance to lose her. Yes, it was a year full of unplayable experienced and lessons in life that I can apply to a new year which just started by.
It’s 2012 a year they call disaster, a year dated to be the end of the world. But for me who do believes that the destiny of our end depends on what we do to our society. What we need is a change and I’m going to start with myself this year I will be a model of good discipline to my fellow youth. I’ll try to do my best to help in the conservation of our mother nature. Instead of wasting my time playing with my gadgets I will join a group of students who go out hiking to plant trees to help in stopping global warming. Yes, I will be that person this year.
2011 taught me something that I’ll never forget, let’s start with studies last year I have been so playful in my studies so boastful that my extracurricular activities would give me high grades but it didn’t instead it pulled my grades down now I know that I should balance my AKA and EKA.
Failures which I made last year made me stronger, it taught me to be tough and fearless in facing those challenges that will come ahead. Yes, this is the new me.

Keeping in Mind Our Mother Tongue

Dialect is an identity of brotherhood of different cultures.  For me I was taught of speaking with our native language ILOCO. And I am proud to use it though sometimes I always use English or Filipino in communicating with other people to train myself for the future. I dream of becoming a lawyer someday and attached to it is that I can only use two languages to defend my case which is English and Filipino. But still bear in mind I am an Ilocano born to speak with my own mother tongue which was trained by my society.
To use our own dialect is announcing that we are proud of we are proud of who we are. Let us all use our mother tongue for building better community, because for real if we communicate with others using another dialect when and there is a lack of information to the about that dialect you are using can irritate them and will create a misunderstanding. And probably it will create a fight against to people who were born with the same culture because of a dialect.
So I conclude that we should  always be reminded that it is better for us to use our mother tongue when we are to speak with others in the same culture.
