INTEREST! JUST HAVE INTEREST!

What does it take to be an ICT student?
You just need put interest in discovering more about computer. I just have my ITC subject for two years. Within these years I’ve learned a lot about computers, there history, how is it created, who created the first computer, what is the name of the first virus detected, how is internet created, when did internet reached Philippines, how to make a web, web designing.
All of these questions are answered by ICT, and all of these things were remembered because of interest. See if you are really interested in one thing anything can be possible. If you have the interest then you are qualified to become an ICT student.

MY DREAM MY FUTURE

To dream is to see our future, what we are going to be in the future.
All of us have their own dreams in life. For me to have successful some day and  have vigorous life is my dream; to achieve it I have to do the best I can to achieve this, by putting a lot of effort  in studying. I know I can reach it as long as I have the confidence, attitude and determination. I can do it, that's what I know. Graduating in high school is one of my achievements in life. To graduate in college and have a job is my biggest dream, for this will determine how my life will run in the future if I will be successful or not.
If Superman Can! Why Can’t I!

CHANGE for the BETTER or IMPROVE

Do we need changes? What if there's nothing to change? Should we change?
In order to become progressive our culture, our self, nation we need change. Change is one of the ways to have new world, new beginning. To have a better life, we have to maintain and change many things. As a human, I want to improve the world where I belong to right now. I know that change, starts with me. There are many things to be done I have to change myself for the better. I have to improve myself for I have done a lot of mistakes that gave me lessons to become more responsible.
But there are aspects in life that we don’t have to change we just need to improve it because changing it might change all of the things we have started right and might cause lots of troubles.

KANNAWIDAN: YLOCOS FESTIVAL

Kannawidan is one of the most awaited festivals in Ilocos Sur. During these festival cultures, traditions and products are put into show.
One of the main attractions in this festival is the display and sale of products from different towns around Ilocos Sur. Where I have seen how creative Ilocono’s are. They made Handi crafts made from indigenous materials.
There is also a showdown on native costumes, native arts designs and some native products held at Vigan Heritage.
The other highlights in this festival is the vintage car presentation, living treasure’s awarding rites and the search for Miss Saniata 2012.
This year’s Kannawidan for me is better than of last year, because this year my mom gave me the freedom to watch the shows every night not like last year my mom did not allow me to go and watch the shows.

REFLECTION

This grading period I learned a lot in using more html tags, thanks to those Exers that were given to us that trained us.
This grading period was way much challenging than the past grading. Making your own web was a great experience and challenge to me. I never thought that they will give me the responsibility in making our web design, which is our project. So I pursued to finish and make it beautiful.
I made research for more tags in the internet. I asked my friends who knows something about this. I put lots of effort in making our project because it was my punishment for not helping in the hardcopy. And I survived I finished it and I am glad that I have applied what I have learned.
Upon making a web design I find enjoying and I think it will be my next hobby. It is very challenging to make a web which is cool, awesome, beautiful, and satisfying. Moving on I hope that our last grading would be more challenging and learn more about web designing.

NEW YEAR! NEW ME!

Year 2011 was a history lots of things happened. Happiness that I thought i will never lose, problems that I thought it will never end, friends which I trusted because they do trust me, failures which I will never forget and met a special person that I will never give a chance to lose her. Yes, it was a year full of unplayable experienced and lessons in life that I can apply to a new year which just started by.
It’s 2012 a year they call disaster, a year dated to be the end of the world. But for me who do believes that the destiny of our end depends on what we do to our society. What we need is a change and I’m going to start with myself this year I will be a model of good discipline to my fellow youth. I’ll try to do my best to help in the conservation of our mother nature. Instead of wasting my time playing with my gadgets I will join a group of students who go out hiking to plant trees to help in stopping global warming. Yes, I will be that person this year.
2011 taught me something that I’ll never forget, let’s start with studies last year I have been so playful in my studies so boastful that my extracurricular activities would give me high grades but it didn’t instead it pulled my grades down now I know that I should balance my AKA and EKA.
Failures which I made last year made me stronger, it taught me to be tough and fearless in facing those challenges that will come ahead. Yes, this is the new me.

Keeping in Mind Our Mother Tongue

Dialect is an identity of brotherhood of different cultures.  For me I was taught of speaking with our native language ILOCO. And I am proud to use it though sometimes I always use English or Filipino in communicating with other people to train myself for the future. I dream of becoming a lawyer someday and attached to it is that I can only use two languages to defend my case which is English and Filipino. But still bear in mind I am an Ilocano born to speak with my own mother tongue which was trained by my society.
To use our own dialect is announcing that we are proud of we are proud of who we are. Let us all use our mother tongue for building better community, because for real if we communicate with others using another dialect when and there is a lack of information to the about that dialect you are using can irritate them and will create a misunderstanding. And probably it will create a fight against to people who were born with the same culture because of a dialect.
So I conclude that we should  always be reminded that it is better for us to use our mother tongue when we are to speak with others in the same culture.
